About RedIslandRI
RedIslandRI.org connects Rhode Island Republicans -- local committees, candidates, volunteers, events, and campaign opportunities -- in one place.
Rhode Island's Republican community is small, engaged, and spread across dozens of town committees and campaigns that mostly work in isolation from each other. RedIslandRI exists to make it easier to find each other: what's happening, who's running, which committee to contact, and where an extra pair of hands is needed this week.
What RedIslandRI is not:
- Not a PAC
- Not a campaign committee
- Not a replacement for official town committee websites
It's a shared coordination and visibility layer -- built to point people toward the real committees, campaigns, and events doing the work.
Starting on Aquidneck Island
RedIslandRI is starting with Newport, Middletown, and Portsmouth because Aquidneck Island already has active local ties and near-term events worth coordinating around. The structure is built to expand statewide as more town committees get involved.
How events get published
Anyone can submit an event, but nothing posts automatically. Every submission is email-verified by the submitter, then reviewed by an admin before it appears on the site. SeeSubmit an Event for details.
